Following our attendance on site, it was identified that the drainage line between the manhole located adjacent to the football pitch and the manhole immediately upstream of the tank is restricted due to either a blockage or a potential pipe collapse. An initial attempt was made to clear the restriction using our combination tanker unit; however, the blockage could not be fully removed as the jetting capability available was insufficient for the nature of the obstruction. Following consultation with Eurotech, it has been recommended that a specialist high-pressure jetting service be utilised to further investigate and attempt to clear the affected section of drainage. A CCTV survey is also recommended to determine the exact condition of the pipework and identify whether any structural damage, collapse, or other defects are present. It should be noted that the drainage system is currently restricted but not completely blocked. Wastewater is continuing to pass through the line, and there is currently no evidence of overflowing manholes or sewage backing up on site.
